What we record when you use the site, and where your data is kept.

The waiting list

If you leave your email, the server keeps that email, the page language and the date. It exists for one message when the product opens, sent from contacto@apagar.eu, and the basis for it is the consent you give by typing the address into the form. It is kept until that message goes out or until you withdraw it, whichever comes first.

Letters and requests

The letters the generator writes and the list of requests you mark as sent stay in this browser. The server does not receive them, and clearing this site's data in the browser clears the list.

There is one exception, and it only happens if you ask for it. When you ask to be warned before a deadline ends, the server keeps your email, the company name, the request type and the two dates, because a browser cannot send mail to anyone. It is deleted once the warning goes out or when you cancel, and the cancel link travels inside the warning itself.

What the server sees

The site runs on Cloudflare. As on any site, each page request passes through the server logs with the IP address. There are no accounts and no sessions.

Your rights

The GDPR applies to Apagar as it does to any service. The server holds two things, and only if you ask for them: the address you left on the waiting list, and a deadline watch, with your email, the company name, the request type and the dates.

Over that address you have the right of access under Article 15, of rectification under Article 16, of erasure under Article 17, and to withdraw consent whenever you want. Write to contacto@apagar.eu and the answer comes within one month, the same deadline this site tells companies to meet. Erasure is also in the form at the top of this page, and that one goes through nobody.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, the supervisory authority in Portugal, under Article 77. The contact page says what else this address is for.
